Overview
This integration links the Magento store with TOTVS' Protheus ERP so that whenever a sale is approved in the Magento e-commerce it is automatically registered in the Protheus ERP. Products registered in the Protheus ERP are pushed and updated periodically in the Magento store, along with their stock, prices and other fields that vary across BioEssência's store views. The store was created using Magento's multi-store features and ships 3 distinct store views managed from a single admin panel. In the retail store view, registered customers are pushed to Protheus already approved; in the wholesale and healthcare-professional store views, customers depend on approval and are therefore pushed to Protheus deactivated, becoming active in the Magento store only after approval inside Protheus. The integration also handles tax calculations, executed straight from BioEssência's e-commerce checkout: customer, shipping and product data are sent to Protheus, which returns the calculated tax values to be added to the order total.
