The Software Development Cycle

The development cycle of the website or portal — built around the client's needs and business rules — starts with requirements gathering, capturing each client's ideas, needs and goals.

Next we run a detailed analysis of all collected information to define the project's main pillars: total development time, features, costs and payment terms, among other points delivered to the client as a proposal.

Once the proposal is approved, the website or portal project starts with the creation of a code repository made available exclusively to the client. Through this repository the client gets lifetime access to the source code, and can follow in real time the evolution of each project stage.

During development, communication between ITERATOR – Sistemas Web and the client is constant, ensuring we receive every piece of information we need and that what we deliver is aligned with the client's expectations.

Project milestones are defined and meetings happen periodically (depending on the size of the project) to present and discuss each milestone as it is delivered.

At the end of development, every feature is re-tested in a pre-release environment that is as close as possible to the real production scenario where the website or portal will operate.

Once the project is officially launched, we are available to follow the entire rollout and provide support as needed, so that the software meets the expectations and success goals set for the project.
