Overview
On-Page SEO optimizations applied to the Água das Araras hotel website. The main issue reported by the client — the reason they hired the service — was that the website belongs to a hotel located in Paraguaçu Paulista (Brazil) and was not appearing in Google results for terms related to “hotel paraguaçu paulista”. The following On-Page SEO processes were applied to fix issues and optimize the hotel pages: enabled .htaccess on the server, added a permanent (301) redirect from the non-www version to the www version, added a permanent (301) redirect rule for every URL containing the index.php extension to the cleaner version without it, set the preferred URL in Google Webmasters, fixed 404 issues on broken URLs, optimized titles and meta descriptions, restructured document outlines, optimized URL structures with redirects to preserve relevance, optimized Sitemap and robots.txt for the hotel page structure, removed duplications and added structured data (Rich Snippets).
